Funding And Accreditation

The Pacific Institute's
products can be funded from a variety of sources. Below are some of the main ones, that have funded our education, but it is not necessarily complete. Organisations/individuals will need to make their own contact to ascertain if they are eligible.. Please contact the Aberdare office for further information and clarity.

NCFE Level 2 Qualification
Pacific Institute programmes (PX2 and STEPS) are accredited at level 2 and included on the Q.C.F and D.A.Q.W frameworks.

Welsh Assembly Government
National Assembly training provision for PX2 and STEPS under Skillbuild and Work based Learning for Adults contracts. .

Open College Network (OCN)
All the products are accredited.. The National Assembly training provision above can be tied into OCN from entry level - level 2

Communities First
Welsh Assembly Initiative aimed at regenerating the most deprived wards in Wales.  Apply via Communities First Coordinators based in Local Authorities.

Genesis Programme

A number of Genesis teams across Wales deliver the STEPS programme for their clients as part of their all-wales provision

Schools

Schools have used their own internal budgets and also LEA budgets

Some schools are able to access Convergent funding, particularly in the heads of the calleys area
